Award Reason

This work is an "action" period piece that tells the story of a young girl's heart growing up. Getting beyond the violent aspects of this piece, each character's philosophy of life is carefully portrayed. Watching the tragedy of this pure heart falling victim to mind control and her eventual breaking free is an extraordinary moving story.
