The Homogenics
Gerard FREIXES RIBERA
This movie is made with “found foot-age,” i.e. preexisting visual images, from family sitcoms from US TV in the 1960s. In a homogenized society, every phenomenon gravitates towards the mean, identical people living in identical houses. This work presents a bolds reversal of the average household that the sitcoms represented.(3 min. 30 sec)
