social hitchhike is a project designed to foster a more enjoyable relationship between cars and people. It is a device that allows people who are separated by great distances to ride together in the same car. The device provides a shared, slightly futuristic experience in which users set out on a twoday, one-night drive as one of 12,000 passengers.
