This film animates the cave paintings of Lascaux, which were painted more than 15,000 years ago and are said to be one of the oldest examples of painting in human history. Produced with classical animation techniques instead of CG technology, the stone and rock of Lascaux become the canvas, which is painted using only natural pigments from clay and burnt coal.
