Ughh ugh
SHI Yajun / Uma SHARMA
In this short animation, an anthropomorphic city is shown suffering a sickness caused by air pollution happening inside itself. The artists chose to use trembling thin lines and a limited color palette to send out a simple but powerful message on environmental issues. The story ends with the self-cleansing ability of Earth's natural forces killing off the city, and urges viewers to rethink the notion that humans own the city.
