This work uses artificial intelligence to learn the shapes and patterns of written characters and generate lines that look like text, but have no meaning. The source texts are handwritten statements by 10 artists from different countries collected at Aichi Triennale 2016. The system learned the forms of each written language as well as the traits of the writer, so that the lines written by the plotter look so much like real text as to deceive viewers.
