Across a vast white wall, objects like feathers and metal bits move organically like lifeforms, piquing viewer interest. Yet the moment a view- er nears, their forms collapse and they drop away. Linking viewer actions to live-seeming forms’ mutation into inorganic matter, the work elicits new awareness of the action and role of people’s perception of objects, and of the con- sciousness of them that stems from their loss.
