A media installation expressing the moment an actual object turns into a virtual one. As a glass orb is lowered into liquid, it morphs into a free- ly scalable and fragmentable wireframe video image. The orb disappears from sight in the liquid paraffin filling the tank, as they share the same refractive index. Taking advantage of this feature, a display projects video imagery into the liquid in the location of the orb.
