Last Words / TypeTrace

Artists asked members of the general public to contribute “10-minute last words” on an anonymous basis within a timeframe of 10 minutes. TypeTrace software enabled their processes of typing in the texts to be recorded and reproduced in detail for continuous replay on 24 wall-mounted displays as well as on TypeTrace-linked keyboards. Participants ranging in age from teenagers to nonagenarians had contributed 2,105 statements as of October 2, 2019.

| Born in Tokyo, 1981. Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Informatics. Associate Professor at School of Culture, Media and Society, Waseda University. Co-founded dividual inc. with ENDO Takumi in 2008, and the same year was selected a "Super Creator" in the Exploratory IT Human Resources Project (MITOU Program)
