A video installation based on Sekigaharakassen zu byobu (Battle of Sekigahara Screen) from the early 17th century. The present natural landscape of the former battlefield is overlapped on the screen’s battle scene, and reconstructed as a pixel-animated landscape painting. Six LCD monitors (three-dimensionally installed) and six directional speakers offer a viewing experience with stereoscopic images and sounds.
