Kyushu has suffered from earthquakes and heavy rains over the past decade. Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the full opening of the Kyushu Shinkansen line, this one-night event was held to present hope for the future, involving people from various backgrounds. Wrapped with people’s wishes and lit up, the Shinkansen bullet train traversed the 250-km route from Kagoshima Chuo Station to Hakata Station, as if it were a shooting star.
